Here is a really stupid idea - I don't know if this would work since I never tried it -īut how about going to some other island with a readily available Regular Key, then coming back to the Ice Palace? I wonder if the game allows this, or if keys get wiped out when sailing, or if regular keys are somehow area-specific.
You're talking about going through the arch to the left/west and then there's a locked door to the north and stairs going down, yeah? there's a key down there somewhere, since you will/would come up and out that door later, or at least I think that's what I did.Īlthough I'm not sure the key to come back up/out can be gotten without the boots, which probably can't be gotten unless you go over the bridge and do the normal order of things. because the 2nd key is to the right, and the 3rd key comes from something you have to do while you're in the area to the right.
